God Curse you! Or Bless You?

If a Christian blesses the Jews, he will be blessed in return, but if he curses them, he too will be cursed. However, replacement theology teaches otherwise. Bible believers agree that Jews are put away for the current time, but they will be restored in the future.

Romans 11:1: “I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.”

The above verse makes it very clear that God did not cast away His people (physical Jews).

Romans 11:25-29: “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father’s sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”

The Jews are only blinded in part. God will return to His people and use them for His purposes once again in the future. God’s covenant with Israel cannot be broken. The Israelites are enemies, but as touching election (physical), the Jews are beloved for their forefathers’ sakes. For the gifts (the things that God gives) are without repentance.

Romans 9:3-5: “For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.”

Paul explains that the Jews still have God’s covenant and blessings on the physical side (the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law the service of God) but are cast away on the spiritual side (accursed from Christ) because of their unbelief.

America is a great example of a wicked nation that is suffering God’s curse right now. But are not a lot of us here in America still providing the blessings of God today? There is a sharp distinction between the nation and the people, the spiritual and the physical. We can even see that in our own time and context. Why is it so hard to see it throughout the Bible when it is shown to us so clearly?
